This couple’s wedding was a fun design with an original, but classic design vibe. The Brooklyn Arts Center lighting worked well for both their ceremony and their reception. Here are a few images of the overhead Edison string lights and the vertical wall backdrop lighting behind large balloons…

Brooklyn Arts Center is a beautiful venue that is rich in warm textures and colors. Brittany from Orchid Island Events and I met and supplemented those design elements with our new vintage bulbs and handmade lighting features. Our over-sized vintage bulbs fit perfectly above the band and provided a focal point on the stage and lighting for the band, Port City Shakedown.

The Aquarium at Fort Fisher is a unique venue that can magical at night. Due to the dark nature of the venue lighting is really needed to make it beautiful and functional. Pin spotting florals and your cake or adding our led lined railings adds both. Here are some images from Genie Leigh Photography that help to capture some of our lights there.

The Making Memories house in Ocean Isle Beach makes a great wedding reception venue.
The back yard is large enough to accommodate a large number of guests and the lighting possibilities there are many. Here, we lit the palm trees and fence line, lamposts, string lighting and colored uplighting under the house.

It’s no surprise that some lighting designs are more involved than others. With the added work comes added results.

Wilmington has some unique event and wedding venues and we’ve had the pleasure of providing lighting at quite a few of them.
The USS North Carolina battleship on the Cape Fear River is toward the top of our list though.
Vintage string lighting strung overhead on the deck is a fitting accompaniment for an event on the deck of this historic Navy ship.

With Charleston’s beauty, charm and history it’s a special place for weddings.
The Gibbes Museum of art was chosen by Abby and Ryan for their wedding and reception location. Although it’s a beautiful courtyard, there isn’t adequate lighting for an after dark event.

Lily & Kris’s wedding reception was a great mix of elegance, color and fun.
The color of the lavender uplighting under the tent with the warmth and elegance of 3 crystal chandeliers with a tent liner added a beauty to the front lawn. While the string lighting swagged over the outdoor dance floor area provided functional and festive lighting to dance under the open sky.
